This 3 room second floor fire escape ladder pack ensures emergency preparedness for home or business fires, earthquakes and other emergency situations. It is always a good idea to include portable chain ladders in your fire escape emergency plan. This 15 foot ladder with plastic sleeves on the chains is a strong, light weight portable escape ladder with industrial strength hooks that fit over most window sills so you can safely escape a fire. ResQLadder 3 packs come in 12 foot, 15 foot and 25 foot lengths to escape from second or third story windows. All include ladder stand offs for extra stability. Features: 18 Gauge Steel & 2/0 Double Loop Chain. Rungs tested to 450 pounds per rung. Steel, slip-resistant rungs are heavy duty and grooved for added safety. Displaces 25 lbs. per sq. ft. Supports over 1000 pounds. Easy to install standoffs (for every rung) help to stabilize ladder during descent. Step width: 12″ wide. Bright red handles fit standard window sills. Bi-lingual (English & Spanish) vinyl instruction card affixed permanently to last ladder rung. Ladder Deployment: 1. Hook handles in place to window sill. 2. Customizable Standoffs for Stability
The ResQLadder with Sleeves arrives with both pre-installed standoffs and additional customizable standoffs. For special wall conditions, like a lower glass window or an obstruction beneath the exit window, the additional standoffs can be specially placed for increased stability. To install standoffs, just hang your ladder out the window and select the best rung for installation, avoiding windows and other obstructions. Take down the ladder and install the standoffs with the screws provided.
